ROLE

As a Content Manager, you’ll help shape and execute our clients’ social presence—driving engagement, fostering online communities, and ensuring a consistent brand voice across all platforms. From research and content strategy to planning, development, publishing, and reporting, you’ll play a key role in bringing brands to life in the social space.
In this role, you’ll manage social channels, support content creation, and cultivate online communities for a health and wellness client, a quick-service restaurant, and a US-based bourbon brand. You’ll spark meaningful conversations, craft compelling content, and stay on top of cultural moments that can drive engagement. A sharp eye for detail and strong writing skills are essential.
Your profile?
You live and breathe social media—always online but equally tapped into real-world culture and its impact on the digital space. You know how to start a conversation, when to engage, and when to simply listen, adapting your tone and approach with ease.

Words may be your preferred medium, but you also think visually. Whether it’s a GIF, an emoji, a short video, or a perfectly timed meme, you know how to make content resonate. You intuitively capture a brand’s voice and can seamlessly shift between different personas.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor conversations across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Google Business Profiles, and X—tracking both direct mentions and untagged discussions.
  • Engage with fans, influencers, and publications multiple times a day—not just answering questions, but creating moments that drive earned media and extend brand love through interactions like shares and favorites.
  • Stay on top of social trends and cultural moments, identifying opportunities for brands to tap into relevant conversations in real time.
  • Identify quick-turnaround reactive opportunities —brainstorming with agency and client teams to bring bold, timely ideas to life.
  • Track larger, non-reactive content opportunities based on community insights and contribute to a running list of brand-aligned behaviors.
  • Collaborate with the Content Manager and Content Creator to brainstorm for larger campaigns, ensuring the audience perspective is at the heart of all ideas.
  • Support the Content Manager with ongoing content strategy initiatives.
  • Build excitement and actively participate in our clients’ social media presence.
  • Develop, organize, prioritize, schedule, and manage content across all platforms in coordination with clients and internal teams.
  • Deliver analytics-based reports in collaboration with the strategy team to provide insights on content performance.
  • Publish new content and remind audiences of the great experiences they’ve had with the brand.
  • Foster relationships with influencers to strengthen brand reach and engagement.
  • Manage Escalation Matrixes, routing customer service inquiries to the right channels and flagging opportunities to surprise and delight audiences.
  • Utilize social listening tools and native platform analytics to track performance and uncover insights on what’s working (and what’s not).

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-3 years of experience as a Community Manager/Social Media Coordinator or similar role.
  • Educational background in new media, advertising or journalism preferred
  • Experience in the alcohol/beverage space is preferred
  • Relevant agency, media or independent blogging experience is considered an asset
