ROLE


As a Senior Producer at Sid Lee, you’ll lead the execution of world-class campaigns and branded content for our clients. Working across video, photo, and multi-format advertising, you will collaborate closely with diverse creative teams to bring ambitious ideas to life. In this role, you will navigate a fast-paced agency environment to deliver everything from large-scale, big-budget integrated campaigns to smaller, more nimble projects, always balancing creative vision with practical execution.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the end-to-end production of advertising and branded content, including broadcast, social, digital, and integrated campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with creative, strategy, and account teams to interpret briefs and elevate ideas into compelling visual stories.
  • Build, manage, and inspire multidisciplinary production crews, from internal creators to external partners, talents, and suppliers, to successfully complete projects.
  • Oversee production schedules, budgets, logistical plans, and post-production workflows (animation, VFX, compositing, colour grading, AI and more).
  • Navigate legal, union, copyright, and compliance requirements specific to agency and advertising contexts.
  • Proactively problem-solve and deliver production solutions that balance creative ambition with technical and budget realities.
  • Budgeting, actualizing, and wrapping all productions efficiently, on time and on budget.
  • Act as a creative ambassador and champion of innovation at Sid Lee.
  • Ensure final project documentation, closeout, archiving, and billing are clear and complete.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • 6+ years of experience as a producer for advertising, social media, TV, video/photo, experiential, or branded content projects.
  • Strong portfolio of agency-produced work.
  • Very good command of production and post-production techniques (film crew, equipment, post-production etc.).
  • Advanced organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills while vetting and building production plans.
  • Excellent communication skills with clients, internal team members, and agency production partners.
  • Knowledge of industry agreements, local supplier networks, and production norms.
  • Passion for creative innovation, team collaboration, and working with ambitious brands.
  • Strong interest and expertise in new technologies, including artificial intelligence.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of the network of production and post-production vendors in Toronto.
  • Canadian passport holder with the ability to travel abroad as needed.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.


The salary range for this role is $90,000–$110,000 CAD per year. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
