Fondée en 2009 par l’intégration de la firme d’architecture Nomade, Sid Lee Architecture est dirigée par Jean Pelland et Martin Leblanc, architectes, associés principaux. L’équipe est composée d’environ 60 professionnels du milieu de l’architecture et du design d’intérieur. La firme offre un large spectre de services, dans les secteurs d’activité suivants : analyse urbaine et stratégie de développement, développements multiusages, projets résidentiels multiunités, loisirs et hospitalité, aménagement de bureaux corporatifs et commerce au détail.
RÔLE
Relevant d’un directeur de projets, le.la Concepteur.trice, participe à la conception, la présentation et la réalisation de projets variés, complexes et d’envergures, au Canada comme à l’international. De par son expérience, il.elle participe à la conception et la réalisation d’un ou de plusieurs projets simultanément. Passionné.e et autonome, il.elle possède un grand souci du détail, et d’importantes habiletés de communication. Il.elle sait gérer les priorités et fait preuve d’une grande créativité dans la recherche de solutions.
RESPONSABILITÉS
- Participer à la création de concepts d’aménagement, meubles et détails architecturaux;
- Faire des recherches afin de proposer des idées conceptuelles innovantes;
- Produire des documents, présentations et visuels afin de communiquer la vision conceptuelle de projets;
- Travailler sur des projets aux échelles, programmations et contextes variés;
- Participer aux rencontres et aux présentations clients;
- Contribuer au développement de l’équipe par le partage de ses connaissances;
REQUIS
- Diplôme universitaire en architecture;
- Un minimum de 5 ans d’expérience;
- Connaissances du code du bâtiment et des normes de conception;
- Maîtrise de logiciels Revit et 3D;
- Maîtrise du Français et de l’Anglais (oral et écrit).

Founded in 2009 through the integration of the Nomade architectural firm, Sid Lee Architecture is led by architects and senior partners Jean Pelland and Martin Leblanc. The team includes some 60 architecture and interior design professionals. The firm offers a wide range of services: urban analysis and development strategy, mixed-use developments, multi-unit residential projects, leisure and hospitality, corporate office design and retail.
ROLE
Reporting to a Project Director, the Architectural Designer participates in the design, presentation, and execution of varied, complex, and large-scale projects both in Canada and internationally. With their experience, they contribute to the design and realization of one or multiple projects simultaneously. Passionate and autonomous, they possess a keen eye for detail and strong communication skills. They can manage priorities and demonstrate great creativity in problem-solving.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in creating layout concepts, furniture, and architectural details.
- Conduct research to propose innovative conceptual ideas.
- Produce documents, presentations, and visuals to communicate the conceptual vision of projects.
- Work on projects of varying scales, programs, and contexts.
- Attend client meetings and presentations.
- Contribute to team development by sharing knowledge.
- Coordinate work with necessary resources.
- Participate in weekly meetings and ensure required follow-ups.
REQUIREMENTS
- University degree in architecture.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Knowledge of building codes and design standards.
- Proficiency in Revit and 3D software.
- Proficiency in French and English (oral and written).
